Stainless and cast-in-place liners for cracked clay flues in older East Tennessee brick homes.
Many pre-1970 houses around Oak Ridge, Fountain City, and Jefferson City vent through unlined brick or through clay tiles that have shifted and cracked over decades of wood heat. Once the joints open, heat and carbon monoxide can reach the framing. We install insulated stainless steel liners sized to the appliance, whether that is an open fireplace, a wood stove insert, or a gas furnace, and use cast-in-place systems when the flue is too irregular for a rigid liner. Each liner gets a National Chimney Pros camera check before sign-off.
